About Ronnie
I am the youngest of four boys. I guess that means I'm the spoiled one, but I don't like that stereotype. Yes... I am 26 and I still live at home, but mostly because it would be awkward for my parents. I know it's hard for my mom to let all her children go.
I went through my phases growing up. As the youngest of four boys, I always tried being older than I was. It wasn't until I had a license of my own and good friends of my own that I acted my own age... sometimes even a little younger than I should.
I'm blaming ASB for pulling me out of my shell. I let my defenses down and made some of the closest friends of my life. One person in particular helped mold me into the man I am today and for that I am greatful. Back in high school, the name Ronnie Garcia was synonymous with Kim Truong. We were best friends for about a year and I learned a lot about relationships and people from her.
Growing up, I was never a big hit with the ladies. Mostly because I wasn't a pretty boy, but I wasn't very outgoing either. It wasn't until my senior year in high school that I actually had my first girlfriend, Melissa Gomez. That was an awkward experience. I had no idea how to treat a girlfriend and I don't even think I knew her well enough to be her boyfriend. It was another learning experience overall and it helped build my confidence.
After everything, I am now a much older and wiser guy and happier overall. Of course the source of that happieness can be attributed to two different things. My relationship with God and my relationship with Jane. I try to keep God at the center of everything in my life and Jane is always right next to me to support me. She is my compliment, she was formed from my rib.
With this upcoming wedding, I face yet another learning life experience. One that will last until the end.
